Hello,
I have envy 6055 printer. It’d been working great with my sticker papers for over a year until tonight. It no longer recognizes the paper and “out of paper” message shows up when I try to print. It prints regular papers completely fine. I’ve done everything I could find online.(software/firewall, unplug the power(reset), cleaning the feeding roller, checking any dust or piece of paper in the printer etc)
I’ve been using the exact same sticker papers for a long time and this never happened. Thank you!

Hi @Yuk1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
There could be a few different reasons why your HP Envy 6055 printer is no longer recognizing sticker papers. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check the sticker paper specifications: Make sure that the sticker paper you're using is compatible with your printer. Check the paper type and weight specifications in your printer manual or on the manufacturer's website.
- Clean the paper feed rollers: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate on the paper feed rollers, which can cause feeding issues. You can clean the rollers using a lint-free cloth and some distilled water. Make sure the rollers are dry before using the printer again.
- Check the paper tray guides: Make sure that the paper tray guides are snug against the edges of the paper. If they're not, the paper can feed improperly and cause jams.
- Adjust the paper settings: Make sure that you've selected the correct paper type and size in the printer settings. You can access the settings through the printer driver on your computer.
- Reset the printer: Sometimes resetting the printer can clear up any issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 30 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I tried everything you mentioned above and now the printer is not event picking up a regular paper properly… at this point I’ve waisted so many papers trying to figure it out. It’s not fair for me to pay for the additional pages if I go over my pages. Is this issue fixable?? I don’t want to spend any more papers or time on it if it’s not.
