HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 printer. It reads the error of paper jam although no paper is jammed. I have tried both queue and non-queue status. I have tried the various steps involved in online suggestions of disconnecting printer waiting 60 seconds and reconnecting, uninstalling and reinstalling software, cleaning printer (various rollers and cartridge area), removing rear access and inspecting, removing emptying and lightly reloading inspected paper tray--all to no avail. The control panel was recently replaced and works fine as far as I know. This has not happened before. I have watched videos at both HP website and YouTube. I have followed the virtual assistants at the HP website--again, all to no avail. I know this is an older printer, but is there someone here who knows anything else to do?
