HP LaserJet P2055dn Printer

I have an older p2055dn with only 21,000 total pages printed. This recently started happening:

The printer will jam on print jobs larger than 4 pages, single sided and duplexing from tray 2, and either print the duplex side on another sheet of paper or print a blank page, and almost always jams.

When using tray 1, multiple page, single-sided documents have a blank page in between the printed pages. Same when duplexing.

I have cleared all jams, cleaned all rollers several times, using genuine HP toner cartridge, used compressed air to remove any dust and debris. What else I am missing? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I didn't want to have to recycle the printer with such a low duty cycle.

Thanks.

The age is not always relevant but in this case, it is quite possible that the foam buffers on the feed solenoids and the duplex solenoids are breaking down and need to be replaced. If you check YOuTube there are many videos explaining how to do this.

Thanks Repairatrooper. I found a service repair manual for the 2030/2050 series and I think that is the issue. I removed the right hand side cover, the side with the fan, and cleaned that solenoids. Now some of the gears are out of place which I have to figure that out, but I believe there are a total of three solenoids that I have to check. In order to get the wiring harness off and the gears placed correctly, it looks like I have to completely disassemble the entire chassis.

Thanks
