HP Deskjet 2700 All in one

Hello Team,

My HP Deskjet printer 2700 shows E4 error. I have already tried all the recommended steps of removing paper jam. Apparently there is no more papers stuck inside but still my printer throws E4 error. I am out of warranty period. Could not contact the HP support team as well. Kindly suggest a way forward.

Thank you

Sukumar Raji

@Suku84, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is stuck on an E4 error which refers to a paper jam. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - 'E4' Error Displays (Paper Jam)

Check if the print carriage is moving freely.

If the error persists and there is no jam inside the printer, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
