Paper will not feed into the printer. Sometimes can be pushed. Rollers are rolling and contacting the paper.

Hi @Pulver12551,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the paper won’t feed into your HP DeskJet 2755e and you’re noticing that the rollers are working but the paper still isn’t feeding properly, here are a few things you can try:

Check the Paper Path:

  • Ensure there are no obstructions or small pieces of paper stuck in the paper path.

Verify Paper Type and Size:

  • Make sure you’re using the correct type and size of paper for your printer. Sometimes, using paper that is too thick or too thin can cause feeding issues.

Adjust Paper Guides:

  • Ensure the paper guides in the input tray are snug against the paper stack. If they’re too loose or too tight, it can affect feeding.

Clean the Rollers:

  • Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to clean the paper feed rollers. Gently rub them to remove any dust or debris.

Reload Paper:

  • Remove the paper from the tray, fan the stack to prevent sticking, and reload it. Ensure the paper is properly aligned and not exceed the tray's maximum capacity.

Check for Paper Jam:

  • Even if the rollers are rolling, there might still be a small piece of paper or debris causing a jam. Inspect the printer carefully for any jammed paper.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
