I keep getting paper jamming in the fuser roller unit. I have 3 fuser units in stock and it happens with any one of the fuser roller units I install. This will happen continually until a few sheets get through, then I can print all day without any problems. Seems that once I turn the printer off and come back the next day, jams start all over. Any suggestions as to why this happens?

Been a long time since I worked on these but we had a pair on a customer site years ago, heavy use, printers had roughly 1.6 million copies when retired and the solution then was to replace the pickup assembly. The problem appeared to be that pickup was delayed and that resulted in paper stopping in the fuser. PN: RM1-1756-000CN

Thank you for your response. I will look into this, as my 4700 has about 500k copies on it. I've already replaced all the rollers except for the ones in the manual feed tray, as I could not find them any place.
Is this the part and if so, is there instructions as how to replace this part?
Thank you for the recommendation.

Yes that is the part. Download a copy of the service manual, you can find them everywhere. There are only a couple of screws and the cabling is all hidden under a panel that pops out on the left side of the cavity.

Thank you for all your help. The problem, as you suggested, was the "pickup assembly". After inspecting the part, all I had to do was give it a good cleaning, as it was filled with paper dust and the rollers looked dirty. Once that part was vacuumed out and cleaned up real good, I ran multiple copies without any jams. Thank you again for taking the time to respond to my call for help.
