HP All in one 9018 Printer / Scanner
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Cartridge holder is stuck far right (where it is hidden by the housing).  I can't get at it.  The instructions are to clear the paper jam.  There is no paper jam - anywhere.  When I tug lightly on the cartridge holder, it clicks up against something and won't move - as if there is a clip or something restraining it.  I have tried powering down and resetting.  I have followed the troubleshooting in the app.  I am out of warranty and - apparently - out of options.  Incidentally, at the same time this cropped up, the printer also refused to turn off.  It says it is shutting down, and then just stays like that for hours.  We left it overnight and it was still shutting down the next morning.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Are you able to move it manually?

If not, I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
