HP LaserJet M209dw Printer

I am having several issues with this printer, I just purchased this printer. The printer makes a lot of noise to warm up and print each time I print it makes loud noises before and after printing a page. I keep having to reset the paper settings as it keeps changing and never saves. I print size 10 envelopes and labels from tray 1 and regular plain printing from tray 2, the two settings are getting mixed up and when i want to print a regular page, it tries to print it in tray 1 and when i try to print an envelope or label It does not work and will not print??????? Why does this keep happening? I haven't been at peace since i purchased this printer as it causes so much delay in my time to get work done.

Purchased new or used? How do you have the printer configured? Have you set the paper size and type settings on the printer itself? The most common issue I deal with is failure to set tray 2 to whatever default paper you use such as plain letter. Not having that set causes the printer to default to Tray 1 or MP tray as it is also known.
