I have often printed on cardstock with this printer before today. today, it is printing off venter. It is leaving about 3 inch space at the beginning of the page which means the end of the page is not printing on the paper. I have tried printing the same page with regular paper and it worked. However, I did have a problem on regular paper when doing double sided.

The other day, I did have a paper jam for the very first time with this printer...I cleared it and finished printing that day without other problems but today, I can't.

I have tried restarting the printer as well.

What can I do?

That printer model doesn't support cardstock, it will print when new but with more and more printing on cardstock printer mechanics start to weak and cardstock paper feed issues begin, while on plain paper everything works.

So if I need to replace it to be able to print cardstock, which instant ink printers can do that and have automatic duplex.

If you need often to print on cardstock you will need to get yourself a more professional printer.

All small and medium home/office printers can't handle too much cardstock.
