Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using my HP Envy 6032 printer I tried to print on to photo paper.

The paper is thicker than regular paper but have never had a problem printing on it before.

Kept getting a paper jam as though the printer was incapable of feeding it through.

Following the printer jam I cleared it by removing the roller cover but now the cover won't close properly.

If I remove the roller cover it will close properly so somehow this musn't  be seating correctly. Can't find anything out of place and tried removing and replacing several times to no avail. Anyone had anything similar with a fix?
