Envy Photo 6230

My HP Envy Photo 6230, 19 months old, no longer will print anything. I receive an "Out of Paper" error which would suggest a paper pick-up issue. I have tried alternative paper, cleaned the relevant wheels etc. but to no avail.

 

Any other suggestions or pointers as to where to find new feed wheels?

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Envy Photo 6230 Printer says it is out of paper. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue

 

Let's perform a power drain: 

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove the USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Update the printer firmware 

 

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product

I have tried ALL of these steps now, having tried the majority of them previously based on suggestions on other threads. Thankyou again for trying to assist but unless I manually feed the paper, the printer will not pick up the paper itself.

 

I am resigned to the fact that I will need to purchase a new printer, albeit it seems a relatively quick time to have had to replace it without excessive use and on the HP Ink scheme (which can verify its usage)
