HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

The printer is printing crooked and eating the paper on one side. When it goes through the section of the feeder right before the print cartridge it starts to get out of line. I can hear a gear making a weird nose and then the paper comes out printed crooked and slightly messed up. I have tried a all the printer cleaning options, the alignment, and a complete reset. I have done the power cycling where I pull the cord out, unplug the cord and wait 60 seconds and nothing is working.

Another issues when doing the printer alignment. After it runs the paper and it get messed up, the printer starts to do the alignment. The system says it should take about 7minutes, but twice now it had ran for over an hour still saying "aligning". I ended up hitting the power and resetting it.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help.

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Let me know if this helps.
