Hello all!
A week ago, I face a very strange issue with duplex printing of my LJ P2055dn.
When I use tray2 to print duplex, it advances one sheet, it prints the front page (page1), it advances the printed sheet to the printed papers tray, then it advances a second sheet, it passes it through the duplex unit leaving unprinted the front page, then it reverses it in the duplex unit and prints the back page (page2) and finaly send it to the printed papers tray too.
Instead, if I use tray1 for A4 paper feeding, the duplex printing performs perfectly!
The printer is network connected and is being used by multiple pcs (win xp pro, win 10 pro 64bit, win 11 pro 64bit).
There was no problem with any of the abobe mentioned pcs and now (since last week) no matter which pc sends a duplex printing, the printer behaves the same (as describer above)...
Anyone has any idea what the problem could be?
I would appreciate any reply, thanking in advance for your contribution towards solving the issue.
Thank you!

Check to make sure that Alternate Letter Head mode is not turned on in the printer internal settings.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

Thank You so much indeed!!!
It was so simple that I would never think to take a look in the printer internal settings concerning paper handling.
I thought that it would rather be a mechanical problem either in tray2 and/or duplex unit.
The strange fact was that duplex unit was working perfect when fed from tray1.
I turned tray2 to "plain" and everything performs excellent after that.
Tray1 had been already set to "plain", that's why duplex printing had no problem when selecting tray1 to print from.
Much obliged for your quick, kind and quite valuable help!!!
Kindest regards,
