HP LaserJet Pro200 Color M251nw

My printer just started this weird behaviour: it prints first page, but it does not push it out entirely (yet it's fully printed) then second page gets printed just about an inch and all stops and says it's jammed. I tried with one page only and same result, remains stuck in the out bin (but I can easy pull it out and it's fully printed). Unless I open the tray and back door and cut the power cord I can't re-use or print with it. Once it starts all is fine, diagnostics are fine. But any print (even from its own reports) gets this jam message in the outer bin. I checked nothing is stuck there, took out the Fuser, nothing is there, all clean. All this started appearing after a firmware update (after like 1 week of usage). I reset to defaults, nothing, updated again the firmware nothing.. Can someone give me ideas where to look or what to replace?

This behavior suggests one of two things:

1. You have a sensor that is not working properly, either the output bin on the fuser flag and that causes the printer to think that the paper is stuck and stops to prevent damage. Check to make sure any sensor you can find have smoothly operating flags, There is likely one inside the back door that tells the printer when paper has exited the fuser, normally if this flag is stuck open it would not allow proper startup of printer, but sometimes they do weird things.

2. The paper size you have set on the printer itself does not match the actual paper you have loaded. Check your printer settings an ensure that if you have letter size loaded, the paper size set from the control panel of the printer is letter.

HI, thanks for answering. I did check the paper settings vs real paper (all aligned). I did not change anything, using same paper I've used for last 1000 pages. Could be the sensor, will verify and order one if that's the case.

This seems fairly similar to my problem: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Sensor-or-Scrap-Machine-HP-LaserJet-Pro-200-M215nw/t...

* checked those top flaps. they are fine. tried keeping them up..nothing. Somehow it thinks it's stuck but it's not.

I have even printed a photo (4x6) as I did many times, prints nice, but same thing about 1cm before it's out entirely (seems percent of page size, since the Letter one it's about 1-1.5 inch stuck)  to the output bin it gets stuck and error, I pull it out, fully printed no issues, other than the error and I can't print anything unless I open back door, cut the power, let it for few minutes, turn on, close back door. This drives me insane now.. I have to print every page like this. I get it it's faster than the 1400s but still not up to 2021 standards. Anyone knows how to do a "hard reset"?!
