HP Laserjet 1320 printer grabs the #10 envelope, but when print job is sent, the rollers sound but envelope is not fed through and I receive a flashing icon of a ! in a triangle. If I press the pink button the envelope feeds right away yet is not printed.  Sometimes it will operate properly on the first try (after not being used for days) but not on consecutive tries. I have my settings for printing an envelope. I love this printer, it has been working fine for many years. What can I do?

As this printer is older and likely seen some use the most common issues are going to be dirty or worn pickup rollers. The rollers should be clean and a consistent color and have visible fingerprint like ridges on them. Dirty rollers can be cleaned with a water-dampened cloth, badly worn rollers will require replacement. Part number RL1-0540-000CN. You should also replace the separation pad in the tray at the same time RM1-1298-000cn.
