HP M203 not printing due to paper jam error.

HP printer M203dw has status: Jam in output bin. Open top cover and release clearance lever. Clear Jam. 

I have open all covers and check bins and don't see any paper jams. I have tried resetting printer and still get the same status. Tried changing toner and drum and resetting printer again. Still get same status. The only thing I'm no sure of doing yet is releasing the clearance lever. Not sure what that is. I've gone through  manuals and parts list and search the internet and there is no mention of a clearance lever on this printer. Exactly what is the clearance lever and where is it?
