This OfficeJet Pro 6978 had been working ok a few days ago - I could scan and also print - and now the error message continues to 'state there is a paper jam' when there is no paper jam. I have opened all the lids - I have powered it off, restarted it - looked and HP Diagnose and Fix app - and so far nothing has worked? Very frustrated. When I push the power button to turn it off - the blue wheel keeps rolling around and around saying it's shutting down - this has gone for several hours now and the printer has not shut down : (
I have a new lap top Windows 10 operating - and it says it recognizes the printer - but that is not the issue - it's the error paper jam - followed by a series of numbers.
Help! Is it worth having it repaired - I have had it for 2+ years - I shouldn't have to buy another one .
