HP PageWide Pro 477dw

Does anyone know if the paper tray rollers in the HP PageWide Pro 477dw can be replaced? If so, can you tell me the part number?

We have a number of these printers out of service due to high volume of paper jams, both from Tray 2 and the additional Tray 3. Our HP Dealer suggested that the Tray Roller Kit W1B45A would do the job, but these are quite a different desigin.

Correct part number is CN598-67018 and consists of the pickup roller, separation pad and tool to change the roller. the part number the dealer gave you is for A3 Pagewide products not A4.  And yes you can change both trays 2 and 3 but tray 1 rollers are not changeable. I suggest you check Youtube for videos as this is a little tricky getting the roller out. You will also need a Torx 10 screwdriver bit.

Hi Repairatrooper,

Thank you very much for your helpful solution. We have the correct part on order now.

If you can suggest any particular YouTube video for replacing this part in PageWide model 477, or similar, please do. I have found ones for the larger models ok, and they seem quite straightforward, but the 477 model looks a little more tricky.
