Hp Tango X
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I just used my tango x printer two days ago and it was fine, I haven’t even had it a year and it said “paper jam” and then started to actually cause the jam itself upon feeding the paper when initiating the print job. It pulls the right side and then the left side jams- I’ve done every troubleshooting option there is under the sun- idk what to do at this point.

@Jackelyng1, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to use the printer due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Paper Jam Error

Also, make sure the carriage is moving freely - Carriage jam or E3 error

Check if the papers are properly loaded in the tray - Loading Paper, Cards, Envelopes

Use compatible papers.

If the issue persists, I'm afraid it could be an issue with the paper pick rollers. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

I have tried to contact HP several times to help me with the same exact issues. No help! Beyond frustrating. They honestly are the hardest to get in touch with. Horrible. I would never again recommend to anyone else

I’ve had the same exact issue. We’re you able to contact Kumar directly for help? I don’t see an option for me to contact Kumar for help. Wondering if you were able to get this issue fixed. Thanks!

So I was able to contact someone at HP, they basically told me it’s a software issue and since I purchased my device a little over a year ago it was out of warranty and they could not replace it.  I had my case escalated to the escalation dept. I spoke to an amazing rep who explained that the tango is discontinued ( I wonder why). She was able to help me get a discount on a new printer with some other added perks. Now my tango is just sitting in a box.
