Hi

 

i have recently purchased an HP smart tank plus 555 which repeated shows paper jam issue but once you open and close the door again it works. Does anyone know how to make this stop? Thanks

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

I see that you are facing paper jam issues with your HP Smart Tank Plus 550 Wireless All-in-One printer.


Please follow the steps below to perform a reset on the unit:

1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3. Wait at least 60 seconds.
4. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
6. Turn on the printer and try printing.

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
