HP1320 not picking up paper

I've replaced the pick up roller, but the printer will still not pick up. It's whirring away, but nothing else happening. Do I need to replace anything else?

If the roller is not turning it may be that the shaft that drives the roller is broken, or the gear that meshes with the drive on the right side of the printer has slipped off the shaft. Examine the end of the shaft to see if there are two tabs on it that engage in the slots on the pickup roller. The gear issue can only be determined by disassembly.

Thank you for your reply. As far as I can tell, the two lugs are intact, having loaded a new roller; I can hear parts moving, and noticed during research that full replacement kits are available. I was hoping that a simple roller replacement would do the job, so I either need to get the full kit, or take it to a repair centre
