I want the image to fit my 11 by 17 paper but there are borders/margins when I print an image. I saw in the specs for my printer that it does support borderless printing up to 11 by 17 inches so I tried looking under the advanced tab to see if I could find that setting but there is none. Can anyone help?

Hi @lmgmg,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you are unable to print custom borders on certificates.
To assist better -What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
Yes, the printer supports Borderless printing up to A3/11 x 17-in
Meanwhile, change print settings from the app you are printing from.
Open a document, photo, or webpage, click File, and then click Print or click the Print icon to open the Print window.
Open the printing options. The button or link name depends on the app you are printing from.
Windows 10 Photos app: Click More settings at the bottom of the settings list.
Microsoft Word: Click Printer Properties.
Paint and WordPad: Click Preferences.
Click the tabs on the top of the window or click Advanced to access available settings for your printer.
Scale or resize the printout: Print to fit on different paper sizes, scale to fit the selected paper size, or change the percentage of the original size that prints under Resizing Options on the Features or Effects tab.
Minimize margins: Print close to the bottom edge of the page. This setting is on the Advanced tab.
Mirror printing: Reverse an image or document for printing iron-on transfers from the Advanced tab.
Also, refer to the document -Create Custom Paper Sizes
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
