Hi Team,
I have a two year old Hp Laser MFP 136nw printer which was working smoothly up to now. Today I am getting "No Paper in Tray" error displayed continuously. I have checked the paper stack alignment, added new papers but this error is not going away.
Please help me to solve this problem.
Thanks.

Hi @jYash ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
If your HP Laser MFP 136nw is not detecting paper, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
-
Check Paper Loading: Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray. Make sure it's aligned properly and not exceeding the maximum capacity.
-
Paper Condition: Check the condition of the paper. Ensure it's not wrinkled, curled, or damaged, as this can affect the printer's ability to pick up the paper.
-
Printer Settings: Check the printer settings on the control panel or through the computer. Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the printer's menu match the paper loaded in the tray.
-
Clean Rollers: Paper pickup rollers might be dirty or worn out, hindering their ability to pick up paper. Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to clean the rollers. Turn off the printer before doing this.
- Reset Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.
- Firmware Update: click here
- If the issue persists, consider contacting HP customer support for further assistance. They might be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair or replacement if needed.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
