I have A5 paper loaded, but when I attempt to print using hpsmart it says I have a paper mismatch. If I open the same print job in Safari or Chrome and ask it to print it recognizes the proper paper.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the HP Smart app is not recognizing the A5 paper.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you refer to the below article to change the paper source and paper type and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then uninstall HP Smart App on your mobile device and reinstall it, and test.
