Hi @Dragonfly25,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that you're experiencing issues printing from your PC to your HP printer, even though the diagnostic tests show everything is good and you're signed in. This can be frustrating, but there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check Printer Connections:
- Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your PC via USB cable or a wireless network connection.
Restart Your Devices:
- Sometimes, simply restarting your PC and printer can resolve connectivity issues.
Printer Troubleshooter:
- Use the built-in Windows Printer Troubleshooter to identify and fix common printing problems. To run this tool, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, then click on your printer and select "Run the troubleshooter."
Check Printer Status:
- Make sure that there are no error messages or paper jams on the printer itself that might be preventing it from printing.
Printer Software Update:
- Ensure that you have the latest HP printer drivers and software installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
Printer Queue:
- Check the print queue on your PC to see if there are any pending print jobs. Sometimes, a stuck print job can prevent new ones from being processed. You can cancel or restart print jobs from the print queue.
Default Printer:
- Make sure your HP printer is set as the default printer on your PC. To do this, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, and under "Printers," select your HP printer and click on "Set as default."
Firewall/Antivirus Software:
- Your firewall or antivirus software may be blocking the printing process. Temporarily disable them and try printing again.
Reinstall Printer:
- If none of the above steps work, try removing the HP printer from your PC and then reinstalling it. To do this, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click on "Remove device." Then, follow the instructions to reinstall it.
Check Network Settings:
- If your printer is connected over a network, ensure that it is connected to the same network as your PC. You may need to check your router settings as well.
HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- HP provides a tool called "HP Print and Scan Doctor" that can automatically diagnose and resolve many printing issues. You can download and run this tool from the HP website.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Ensure that your HP printer's firmware is up-to-date. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website for your specific printer model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
