I have a new HP all in one 4301fdw printer and I cannot get the paper feeder to feed paper it jams

I have a new HP Color LaserJet Pro 4301fdw printer. I cannot get the paper to feed into the printer to scan or copy. it starts to draw in the page then jams before it gets onto the scanner plate.

Turn off the printer: Unplug it from the power source for safety.

Open the printer cover: Check for any visible paper jam or obstruction inside, especially near the input tray and scanner.

Remove any jammed paper: If you see any stuck paper, carefully remove it. Be sure to pull gently to avoid tearing it.

Check the paper tray: Make sure the paper is aligned properly and isn’t too thick or curled. Adjust the paper guides to fit the size of your paper.

Clean the rollers: Dust or paper debris can cause jams. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the paper feed rollers.

Check for the scanner cover: Ensure the cover for the scanner is properly closed and that no foreign objects are blocking the path.

Check settings in the printer software: Ensure you are selecting the correct paper size and type for scanning or copying.

Turn on the printer and test again: Plug it back in, turn it on, and try scanning or copying a page again.
