Hi @jean066,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding paper jam on your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To access and clear a paper jam on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9129e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
Turn Off the Printer
- Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord for safety.
Open the Rear Access Door
- Locate the rear door or access panel at the back of the printer.
- There may be two latches or a tab on both sides—press or pull them to open the panel.
- Gently remove any jammed paper.
Check the Paper Path
- Look inside the printer, especially around the rollers and under the ink carriage.
- If paper is stuck under the ink carriage, move the printhead carefully to free it.
Remove Paper from the Front Tray
- Open the front paper tray and remove any loose paper.
- If necessary, pull the paper out in the direction of printing to avoid tearing it.
Reset the Printer
- Close all access doors securely.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Print a test page to ensure the jam is completely cleared.
Prevent Future Jams
- Use clean, high-quality paper (not too thick or curled).
- Don’t overload the paper tray.
- Keep rollers clean by gently wiping them with a lint-free cloth.
If the printer still shows a jam error, try using HP Print and Scan Doctor (available on HP's support site).
