Can you post a picture of the part that fell out please.

Please clarify which model of printer you have as you indicate it is a CP2025, but I do not believe the roller you are showing actually fits in that printer. If you go to youtube and type in your model number and pickup roller you will likely find a video that will show you how to install it.

This small part did indeed fall out of my CP2025. I included a photo of the part. I cannot find the model number, but this number was on the inside of the tray? CB594A. The book that came with the printer says its a Laserjet HP 2020 series.
I also ordered the larger roller to replace. I have seen videos on how to replace the larger, circular pick up roller but no videos on where this smaller part goes. Thanks anyway for your help.

I just received all of the parts in the mail and it included this small part. I watched the video and it goes on tray one. But I couldnt figure out how to replace it. I did however replace the larger roller for tray 2. Thanks

I do not think I have ever replaced that roller in all the years I have serviced these. You follow the same basic steps to enter secondary service mode, and rotate the pickup roller. Power off the machine, remove the tray, drop the tray down that is in the top of the tray cavity. in the upper front of the cavity you will see the roller holder for the Tray 1/MP roller. Just snap it into place. The separation pad is mounted in the tray you pushed down to acesss the roller.
