We just purchased these refurbished printers for use in our environment. When I went to print, it almost immediately gave me the error of "Jam in Tray 3." This issue seems to have been discussed previously on this forum. Previous posts mentioned replacing the "DC Controller," which I assume is related to the motherboard (or is the motherboard). Are there any solutions other than replacing the DC Controller to fix this issue? I've already tried doing a NVRAM flash, but that didn't work.

Any assistance I can get on resolving this would be great.

Thank you!

Does it feed at all? The DC controller is not the main board. The formatter is the main board but the DC controller handles DC ivoltage items like fans and drive motors.

Hello,

Something interesting happened when I came in and checked the printer this morning. I left the printer turned off overnight, and when I turned it on this morning, everything booted as normal. I was able to print a report, but then it jammed again. I turned the printer off for about 10 minutes, and then turned it back on and was able to print a second time. However, it then broke once again.

I can feel the heat that is coming off the printer when it boots, so I wonder if the power supply is not getting enough power or the fan is going bad/ not spinning enough. It's definitely an odd issue.
