My laserjet M475dw is reporting a false paper jam all the time in the output bin.
I already cleaned the whole printer, and there is no paper to be found, anywhere.
The error message can only be cleared by cycling the power and even that will not work most of the time.
Sometimes im lucky, and it powers up without the problem. I can print only 1 task (1 task and multiple pages are no problem.) after that one task the error comes straight back.
I tried new but original hp toners (all 4 i replaced and always used the hp brand, no cheap knock offs)
tried other paper brand and other type of paper i tried also.
I did reset the laserjet to factory defaults, still it keeps coming back.
As last i tried the last new firmware, again no solution.
If the laserjet prints, it does it perfectly. i never had a paper jam so this is really strange.
Is it possible to perform an NVRAM reset?
I'd like some help, it would be very unfortunate if there is no fix for this, cause i bought 4 brand new toners, wich weren't cheap.

The condition that you describe usually indicates that the fuser, RM2-5476-000CN, exit flag is broken or that the retention spring is out of position. Fuser will have to be removed to confirm. This site may help you:

I have this same issue, but I have tested both flags and sensors and they are operational. I also swapped the sensors just for kicks. No changes to the error.
The front edge of the paper stops about 2" past the upper sensor every single time. There are no blockages.
Opening the back door releases the paper and I can manually pull it out easily (forward).
