My printer just started printing crooked. The paper feeds from the document feeder (this printer doesn’t have a paper tray). The paper feeds straight and the copies are straight. My printer is low on toner - could this be the problem?

I’m printing from a MacBook Air running on Big Sur 11.2.2 iOS.

@Lolli2charliam, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • What is the paper type and size used to print?
  • Are you sure that photocopies come out straight?

Meanwhile, ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update software on Mac

Keep me posted for further assistance.
