Laserjet 6P/MP replacement part

Hi,

I have an old 6P/MP. Works perfectly and I have many full cartridges in backup.

Unfortunately, trying to clean the printer, I broke a little part.

I found some parts resellers and I would like to be sure which part to buy.

The broken part holds the transfer roller (hard to see on the picture)

Does anybody know if it's the correct part?

On some of the older models the transfer roller holders are a molded section of the main body of the printer and are not replaceable. There are sites online that post service manuals, download one and check the parts pictures and lists.

Thx for your reply. That's exactly the info I'm searching: which part is the appropriate one.

I'll analyse better the diagrams those sites are showing.
