HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My M375 Laserjet suddenly developed a problem with feeding paper and completing a print.  If I send a test page from the computer it prints it fine.  When I then try to send any other print job, or try to copy from the palten, it goes into a cycle where you can hear it turn on and try to draw paper from the tray.  It fails to draw the paper and goes into a cycle of continually turning on, trying to draw paper and then cutting off.  There is plenty of paper in the tray and no appearant blockages.  I used the printer diagnostic tool from the website which reported no problem.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and still the same problem.  Anyone else out there seen this type of problem?

I would check the condition of the pickup roller to see if it is dirty or worn. It should have a consistent colored surface with tiny fingerprints on it. Use the instructions here https://www.metrofuser.com/post/accessing-secondary-service-mode-to-change-pickup-roller-hp to rotate the roller so you can see the whole surface. If badly worn you may need to replace it.
