New feed rollers have been fitted. The issue seems to be that the shaft that houses the pf pickup roller does not rotate at all, even in secondary service mode when trying to rotate 180 degrees to change the rollers. If you remove tray 2 & cheat the sensors, send a demo page, you can see it does not release to rotate & therefore a jam occurs. From what I can see, I don't thing paper in the cassette lifts up either to the pickup roller. Any ideas please?

Shame there's been no replies, but I've resolved the issue. I did originally suspect the Paper Pickup Release Solenoid which is on the Paper Pickup Assy & is what it turned out to be. You can buy the Assy  as a unit, but the Solenoid is also available separately. It's a bit of a strip down & the SM isn't any help whatsoever.
