More issues with the HP office jet 9025

Well once again here I am looking for another solution to yet another problem with this HP printer. For months I dealt with a security issue that wouldn’t allow me to scan anything to my computer. Got that fixed. Then mysteriously wasn’t able to access any functionality from the display panel which required yet another reset of my printer. I have that fixed for the time being but now every time I go up to the printer it says it’s disconnected and when I press on the button that says “connect”, it says it’s in the middle of an update and it could take a while. It’s now been in the middle of this update for two months. I think it’s safe to say it’s not going complete. I’ve already tried reset number 24 to try to correct this issue and it just ended right back where I left it. A perpetual update  that never completes and constantly saying it’s disconnected.   regardless of what the screen says about it being disconnected, it is clearly not disconnected because I can print to it from my phone. 

Does anyone have any suggestions other than throw it in the trash and buy another brand? I’m really sick of having to reset the stupid printer every two months to fix some another new problem it has. This one printer has just about sealed my decision for never considering another HP product. This is the biggest heap of junk I’ve ever paid this much money for. I’m over it…

Oh and one other issue I might as well go ahead and throw out there while I’m on my rant. When I attempt to scan or print any multiple page document using the document feeder, starting  with page 2 of EVERY SINGLE MULTI PAGE DOCUMENT RAN THROUGH THE DOC FEEDER , it crumbles up the 2nd page and jams up the feeder. I have to hand feed every page of the document  through the document feeder one page at a time or either use the document scanner one page at a time which is Clearly the most inefficient way to print or scan a multi page document.  The doc feeder is absolutely unusable and has been since day 1.
