My HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 does not load paper consistently. Sometimes the paper gets misaligned when loading, sometimes it does not load the paper at all while I hear the roller rotates fast.  Other times, the paper just gets stuck inside.  This is a relatively new printer; less than a hundred pages were printed. 😞

Hi @Rj_C,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 printer is not loading paper consistently, there could be several reasons why. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try.

  • Check the paper tray: Make sure that the paper is loaded properly in the paper tray and that the tray is not overloaded. Check that the paper guides are adjusted correctly to fit the size of the paper.
  • Clean the paper rollers: Over time, paper dust and debris can build up on the paper rollers, causing them to slip and not grip the paper properly. Clean the rollers using a soft, lint-free cloth and some water or rubbing alcohol.
  • Adjust the paper settings: Make sure that the paper settings in the printer driver match the type and size of the paper that you are using. If the printer is set to use a different paper size or type, it may not load the paper correctly.
  • Try a different paper type: If you are using a very lightweight or very heavy paper, try using a different type of paper to see if the printer can handle it better.
  • Reset the printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the printer back in and turn it on. This can sometimes help to reset the printer and resolve any issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
