Hi @Blondie-007

It’s frustrating when a printer keeps jamming despite clearing the paper path. Here are detailed troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018e:

1. Check for Hidden Paper Jams

  • Open all access doors, including the rear paper tray and front panel.
  • Look for small pieces of paper or foreign objects that might be obstructing the paper path.
  • Remove the paper trays and inspect the area for any jammed paper or debris.
  • Open the print cartridge access door and check around the printhead for any obstructions.

2. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Try printing again.

3. Check Paper Type and Loading

  • Ensure you are using HP-recommended paper.
  • Fan the paper stack before loading it into the tray to prevent sticking.
  • Adjust the paper guides so they are snug but not too tight.

4. Clean the Paper Feed Rollers

  • Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant.
  • Navigate to Printer Settings > Maintenance > Clean Paper Feed Rollers.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Update Printer Firmware

6. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord for 60 seconds.
  • Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Let me know if any of these steps help! 😊
