My HP Photosmart 6515 printer has inkjet carrier jam

I replaced a black inkjet cartridge, clicked it down in place, then closed the lid.  The machine moved the cartridge carrier to the right and self jammed.  I lifted the lid and it remained jammed and did not slide to the left, which would be normal action.

A video came on suggesting to move the cartridge carrier to left and right.  Tried this, met resistance and it remains stuck to the far right.

I understand the print carriage is stuck. Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document -  Carriage jam or E3 error

Also, check for any paper jams inside the printer causing the carriage to be stuck, follow steps from this document. 

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
