Do you get any unusual noises when it is lifting the tray? The height sensor may not be detecting when the paper is in the raised position and jamming the paper against rollers, or the tray is not lifting properly. On the left side of the tray is a black gear, does the metal part of the tray lift smoothly if you turn the gear manually?
