HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

The printer is a hp deskjet 2652, and it is saying that it can't print bc it's out of paper. There is paper in the tray though. I've tried everything HP has suggested as well as youtube. I would really like to speak with an hp rep so they could talk me through how to get this resolved. Ive been working on this for a whole week now. If I do not resolve this issue today I feel like I'm going to return this printer (It has printed less that 60 pages) and I won't be repurchasing an HP product again. It is very hard to find a phone number for HP. It's frustrating bc when it works it works very well. I need help.

Hi @Ladybugg213,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check the Paper Feed:

  • Make sure the paper is loaded correctly in the tray, and it is not curled, creased, or torn. Use clean, good quality paper.
  • Confirm that the paper-width guides are snug against the edges of the paper.

Clean the Paper Feed Rollers:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the access door to reach the rollers.
  • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water to clean the rollers.
  • Dry the rollers with another lint-free cloth and wait for a few minutes.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Paper Settings:

  • Verify the paper size and type settings in the printer's software or driver to ensure it matches what's loaded in the printer.

Update or Reinstall the Printer Driver:

  • Consider updating the printer's driver or reinstalling it from the HP website to ensure there are no issues with outdated or corrupted software.

I hope this helps.
