Hi @EBCK7,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To clear a paper jam in your HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer, follow these steps.
- Turn Off the Printer: Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall to ensure safety.
- Open the Printer: Open the printer’s main access door or ink cartridge access door.
- Check for Paper: Look inside the printer for any visible pieces of jammed paper. Gently remove any paper you find. Be careful not to tear the paper, as small pieces can be difficult to remove.
- Remove the Paper Tray: Take out the paper tray and check if any paper is jammed there. Clear out any paper you find.
- Check the Rear of the Printer: Some models have a rear access door or panel that allows you to reach paper jams. Open this panel and remove any jammed paper.
- Check the Paper Path: Look along the paper path for any torn pieces or obstructions. Clear out any debris.
- Reinstall the Paper Tray: Once you've removed all jammed paper, replace the paper tray.
- Close the Printer: Close the printer’s access door or ink cartridge door.
- Plug in and Power On: Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Test the Printer: Print a test page to ensure everything is working correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
