If the paper seems to pull to one side there may be something in the paper path that is blocking the normal flow of paper such as a bit of paper from a jam or a foreign item. If you cannot see the whole path, one method to find hidden blockage is to use a piece of thin stiff cardboard or mylar to floss the paper path by manually pushing the piece through the printer in the normal direction of travel and dislodging the blockage. It is usually easier if the piece you are using is only 1-2 inches wider and push through repeatedly until you have covered the entire width of the paper path.
If the paper stops straight then it may be a broken/failed sensor that prevents the printer from monitoring the movement of paper.
