Hi!
I have recently bought another HP Printer and the same thing has happened again, the paper makes the noise as if it’s going to print but then the paper isn’t being fed through to print! It’s really odd!
please help!

Welcome to the HP English Community --
Unfortunately, "Another printer" is simply not enough information for you to troubleshoot on your own and not enough information for us to guess what is going on with two different unknown printers exhibiting the same problem.
Yeah, but ---
Because the new printer is behaving the same way as the old, the source of the problem is perhaps one or more of the following:
- Wrong or Missing Tray and Paper Settings -- the Printer is not aware of the paper size / type either using the touchscreen Printer Control Panel or the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Paper is too thick, too thin, too brittle (dry), too damp, curled, wrinkled or otherwise unsuitable.
- Paper is not supported - too thick, too thin, unsupported paper size, type, or print surface type.
- Paper is incorrectly loaded -- this is an odd one -- Paper loading is not the same on every printer but the basics are as always as described in the printer's user manual and do not generally deviate from that norm.
- Printer is dirty -- this is not reasonable for a new printer, of course. If the new printer is not fully set up or if there is still a bit of tape or packing material still clinging somewhere, the paper might not move correctly (or at all). "Paper cannot move" might mimic a dirty printer.
- Paper settings in the application or software do not match -- or are in conflict - with the printer's own Tray and Paper Settings.
- Paper settings in the application or software are not compatible with the job type configuration.
