My printer says there is a paper jam but I don't see one. I see a thin strip of paper with printing on it that runs from roller to back on left side. I've never seen this before so it must be out of place but i don't know where it belongs. Please help this old lady!

If your HP ENVY Inspire 7958e All-in-One Printer indicates a paper jam but you cannot locate one, follow these steps to fix the issue:
Turn Off the Printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the printer's power cord from the power source.
Remove Any Paper Trays:
- Carefully pull out all paper trays and examine them for any stuck paper or small bits of paper.
Check Inside the Printer:
- Open the printer’s access doors and panels to inspect the internal areas where paper might be stuck.
- Carefully remove any visible paper jam.
Inspect the Rollers:
- Gently check the rollers for any residual pieces of paper.
- Remove the thin strip of paper you saw on the left side; it should not be there.
Inspect the Back of the Printer:
- Ensure there isn't any paper stuck in the rear access area.
- Remove any stuck paper.
Reinstall Paper Trays and Close Doors:
- Once you are sure no paper is stuck, reinstall the paper trays.
- Close all access doors securely.
Plug In and Turn On the Printer:
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on.
Perform a Test Print:
- Load a few sheets of paper into the paper tray.
- Perform a test print to check if the issue is resolved.
