HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

When I try to print an envelope on my HP OfficeJet 3830, the printer does not grab the envelope. The printer recognizes the print job, tries to grab the envelope, and then produces a message instructing me to add paper. The paper guide is set to the correct place, and the envelope is placed in the configuration instructed on your website. I have changed the paper size and paper type settings on the printer before trying to print. For paper type, I do not have the option to select an envelope so I selected "Specialty Paper,5x7". Please advise.

I understand that you are experiencing difficulties in printing envelopes. I'd like to help!

 

What is the size of the envelope? Maybe the size issues.

Refer to the Supported Envelopes section in the Printer Specifications for HP OfficeJet 3830, DeskJet 3830, 5730 All-in-One Printers document.
