ONLY PRINTS IN LONG BOND PAPER

My printer HP SMART TANK 515 is in "out of paper" error but there's a lot of paper in there. But when I put long bond paper, it prints. I tried changing the paper size when I print but still it says out of paper. It only prints in long size. Help me

If you have not done so,

Recheck / Adjust the paper size / type using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Not sure what the setting looks like for your front loader printer -- EWS might be displaying the different paper sizes under heading for Large, Medium, Small.  The setting you need to correct would be the default size / type for "large paper".

The User Guide shows how to load paper --Page 23

Next, default paper size / type adjustments are made right after the paper is placed (or removed and replaced) in the Intake bin.

Finally, review / change the paper size / type in your print app or software.

EWS – Tray and Paper Management

Original EWS

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model and EWS version Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

OR

Alternate Style EWS

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Paper > Trays > click on Tray to configure

And (in addition and as available)

Section Print > Default Print Options > Select default tray
