HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 print carriage is stuck, pls help!
Alert says the printer carriage cannot move and to remove any paper jams. There are no paper jams or obstructions, I have restarted and followed all recommendations provided by the HP help bot and the carriage still does not move. I have also been informed that my help options are limited since it’s out of warranty. Bought this about a year and a half ago, have used it very sparingly. Very disappointed that it couldn’t even last 2 years. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

@Cmw4817, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that the print carriage is stuck. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Carriage jam or E3 error
Also, check for any jams inside - Paper Jam Error
If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Thank you for responding. Those steps did not clear the problem so I assume it is a hardware failure, as you suggest. This is extremely disappointing, since I have owned this printer for less than two years with very minimal use. So I assume based on your previous response that there is no way to repair a hardware failure?
