Officejet Pro 9025 Jams with extra heavy weight cardstock

I looked up the specs for paper weight compatibility for the OfficeJet Pro 9025. It says it handles up to 110lb (300gsm) cardstock.

However, every time I attempt to print on this weight paper, the machine jams. I even selected "plain paper, thick" on the printer settings for tray 2 (on the little screen on the printer), and then choose "heavyewight paper" in the print dialogue for the printer on my computer. 

Has anyone resolved an issue like this?

According to what I can find for this printer:

Printer does not support 300 gsm card.

Yes, if the paper were supported, it would be correct to use the paper in Tray 2.

"Card" is typically defined as the ISO standard for "Index card" paper.
