Output tray extender (also referred to as the tray extender) doesn't extend when printing.

It won't come out automatically, you have to use your hand to pull it out and push it back.

Thank you. It comes out automatically on my other printer (HP Envy Photo 7830) so I assumed it would on this one.

I have spent hours trying to get an answer from various HP Technical support sites, the last one being a lengthy "Chat" on WhatsApp where it was clear the technician didn't understand the issue.
