In general,

Page Size and Print Size are separate options.

For example

• Page Size might refer to Scan area   9025_HP_Scan_Menu_PDF_More_Destination_13

• Print Size is the size of the printed output, that is. the "Scale" of the print  HP_Smart_Win_Print_Photo_4x6_All_5

What you can do -- and how much control you have over the results --  depends on the printer, the Operating System / version, the content type, the application / software you are using, and the job configuration / options.

Options are generally more robust in Windows as opposed to scanning / printing using mobile applications.
